Mums Enterprise Roadshow: Brighton

Mums Enterprise Ltd

20th February 2017

Founder: Lindsey Fish and Lucy Chaplin

On Thursday 23rd February Mums Enterprise Roadshow will be heading to Brighton, where it will welcome nearly 1000 mums who are all seeking flexible work and business solutions.

As a new mother, Mums Enterprise founder Lindsey Fish decided to start her own event management business instead of returning to her role with a city tech firm. Setting up this business after a baby was an experience that inspired her to found the Mums Enterprise Roadshow in 2016.

The idea is to transform the working and business lives of mums through events that bring them face-to-face with support, advice and opportunities.

Our event is all about helping mums take action and find the contacts, support and tools they need for a career or business that fits around family life.

The event will be the third of its kind, and this time the roadshow is partnering with Google to bring free digital skills training. The Digital Garage will host two 40 minute workshops from a Google digital expert focussing on how to use the web to tell a story and reach new customers online.

“You can imagine how excited we were to be adding two amazing workshops to our already awesome event agenda. Our event is all about helping mums take action and find the contacts, support and tools they need for a career or business that fits around family life. Digital skills are vital in order to do this and we felt our attendees would benefit greatly by having the opportunity to listen to training on important digital topics which the Digital Garage from Google provides. How could we refuse?”
